The money is already in before you start. You can see it is there. When the job is done and approved, you get paid — the customer cannot quietly disappear with your work in their building.

Your money is held, not handed over. Nothing is released until you say the work is done right. If nobody turns up, your money comes back to you.
And if you two disagree? We are already standing in the middle holding the money, with the photos, the messages and the dates in front of us. We look at what actually happened and we decide. That is the job you are paying the 10% for.

How many jobs they finished, how many were on time, how fast they answer, and what other customers said.
How fast you pay, whether the site was ready, and whether the job was what you said it was. Worked out from real records — nobody can buy a better number.

Contractors send a price. Every price is an estimate until they have seen the job with their own eyes.

Licence and insurance on file and checked before they are sent anywhere. These take the bigger jobs, the licensed trades, and anything at a commercial building.
Skilled people with a day job who take small work in the evenings and at weekends — house fixes, cutting grass, pool care. Small jobs only, and if they carry no insurance we say so on their name before you pick them.
Joining costs nothing. There is no monthly charge and no sign-up cost. You only ever pay us when you win a job and get paid for it — if we do not make you money, we do not make any either.

We introduce and we check. Permits, licences, insurance and the work itself belong to you and the contractor — not to us.
You and the contractor can message each other here from the start, but phone numbers and email addresses are shared once the job is awarded and our fee is in. It is the only thing that stops people using us to find each other and then cutting us out, and it is why we can afford to charge nothing up front.
If we introduce a contractor to you, their work for you runs through us for 12 months after their last job. That is the only limit, and it is not a non-compete: they stay free to work for anyone else, advertise, take their own customers, and leave whenever they like. If somebody was already your contractor before we introduced you, tell us and none of it applies.
A contractor cannot know everything from a photo. Their price stands once they have looked at the job in person.
If something goes wrong and it is our fault, the most we will ever pay is the money you actually paid us. Not a dollar more. If you do not agree with that, please do not use the site. Read the rules.
